Below is a letter to Veritas on a few things that concern me.
Dear Veritas,
A few things: I wonder if you realise that your candidate in Ceredigion, Ian Sheldon, has made anti-semitic remarks, including equating Israel with Nazi Germany, in Student Union Hustings at Aberystwyth University. His statement was so vile that he was ticked off by the Chair for violating the university’s anti-racism standards. I have met Mr Kilroy-Silk and rather don’t think he would want to be associated with sort of jew-hatred. Surely he should distance himself from such representations on the party’s behalf.
Secondly one of your members has been using my blog comments section as a place to advertise your party. Unless, I recieve an apology for such behaviour I shall be sending you a bill for advertising on my site . Below please find the offending comment which has appeared on my blog rather often.

Rosie O’Donnell ranted to Fox News Channel’s Geraldo Rivera in a taped interview that will air tonight: “All I know is that when I was a kid and the Vietnam War was on and Jane Fonda was the only person standing up and saying what every kid that was 9 years old like I was knew war is wrong and we shouldn’t go over and kill people . . . You know [President Bush] invaded a sovereign nation [Iraq] in defiance of the U.N. He is basically a war criminal! He should be tried in the Hague! . . . My publicist says I should stop talking about politics.”

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN)—Forensic experts are investigating a mass grave thought to contain the remains of as many as 1,500 Kurds killed in the 1980s.The grave, with 18 trenches, is in Samawa, 230 miles (370 kilometers) southeast of Baghdad, along the Euphrates River. Most of Iraq’s Kurds live in the north of the country.
“We know they’re Kurdish victims because of the clothing and artifacts that were found with the bodies,” said Gregg Nivala, an attorney with the Department of Justice’s Regime Crimes Liaison Office.
