Secret life of the Pope
The MSMs Papal biogs have been victims of extreme air brushing. Hardly surprising.
Forget all that nonsense about what a great chap he was.
The Pope united with those great enemies of the Left, Reagan and Thatcher, in destroying Communism. He was made of the same mettle, rejecting the Leftist policy of accommodating evil, in favour of Thatcherite confrontation.
Thats his legacy, thats what he achieved, thats what he should be remembered for; the rest is just fluff.
P.S. Remember when the Pope went to Jerusalem and visited the Temple Mount. The Imam charged up to him and started ranting about Jews and how the Holocaust never happened. You just couldn’t make it up.

Well said. His stance on Communism trumps all other flaws, in my view, including his sometimes silly pronouncements on capitalism. One of the greats. May he rest in peace.
Memo to the imam: never try to sell Holocaust revisionism to someone who lived under Nazi occupation.
