Drum Q&A
Several of my daily reads including Dean and Kathy, have linked to this set of questions. I thought I might take a crack at them from the perspective of pagan right-of-centre libertarian blogger. To say that the questions are loaded would be a serious understatement.

Members of the House of Representatives and Senate have been in locked combat over the Intelligence Reform bill, well that is to say a few key Republicans in the house have been locked into combat with a Democrat Lieberman and a useless cow R.I.N.O from Maine, Susan Collins. What were the two Senators so upset about? The fact that Jim Sensenbrenner (a F.o.D.) and a colleague of his took exception to the fact there is nothing in the bill that prevents illegals from getting licences. This is particularily bad since a significant number of the 9/11 terrorists used Portland, Maine’s airport to get to Boston from whence they hijacked the planes. Congressman Sensenbrenner thought this should be addressed in any meaningful bill in reaction to 9/11. Instead of being hailed as a hero, he has been vilified for holding up the bill. This blog salutes Jim for his principled stand on the matter.
Dean has pointed out that Dave Schuler is less than impressed as well.
