Back in the 80?s I travelled around the US and witnessed Socialism in action, i.e. White Flight. After 20 years of good Liberal activism, forced bussing etc. middle class Whites just quit the cities. The result was catastrophic. Whole areas of American cities became no-go zones of crime, drugs, and welfare. Not uncommonly, Left wing social engineering produced the opposite of the desired effect.
London and England seem to be experiencing the same decline.
A friend mentions that Canada?s ?full of Brits?, as are South Africa, Australia, America, etc. The greatest migration this country has seen for generations is taking place. Talk in London often turns to ?getting out?, and emigration has become part of the national conversation.
Spain and France are experiencing the English invasion, as whole towns are taken over by refugee Brits. The reasons always come back to safety, schools, and immigration.
Britain, as we knew it, is dying, The friendly, safe, polite country of my youth fading into memory. London is not the wonderful mutli-cultural pipe dream. It’s filthy, dangerous, rude, and getting worse by the day.
Immigrants are often involved in crime, fraud and welfare scrounging, and many do not, as imagined, eventually ?fit in?. Moslem areas across Britain & Europe become renown for crime, drugs, and particularly welfare scrounging.
Watching this once wonderful country slowly commit national suicide is a strange experience, perhaps that?s why the exodus from these shores is so enthusiastic. Perhaps my age is the problem, I remember a time when burglar alarms were for rich people.
Protected, for the time being, are middle class Whites of the media and Labour party, but for how long. Punishment for mugging was recently increased to 4ys. The one crime the rich couldn?t insure against required swift action. How Liberals feel seeing Nigerian and Jamaican dealers on street corners (near my house) waiting to sell their kids crack on their way to school I cannot tell. The Guardian seems unperturbed.
Like many Brits I?m looking to leave.
Sad, pitifully sad. The country that gave the world democracy, freedom, and Teletubies should decay to such a state, that its citizens flee in their millions. Whereas emigration was often the plight of the poor seeking oportunity, it is increasingly simply those seeking the right to live without fear.
