Gawain on l’affaire Tillack

July 08th, 2004 | Category: €uropean Garbage, Political Correctness, Stuff

You must read this piece until the end. The last line is either hysterical or pathetic; one does not which. More background is contained in a piece by Ambrose Evans-Prichard in today’s DT.

Once you become even more fed up with the EU, you can pop over and read this what if about the day the UK left the EU!

More ROPMA fun in London

Further my post about Red Ken cavorting with judenhaas ROPMA, the row continues to boil over in the media here. Harry and Gene have posted some interesting thoughts on the matter. Harry’s place has attracted an apologist for Islamists and their evils. His postings are so idiotic as to be amusing.

In a case of bad timing, legislation baning religious hatred is being discussed in Parliament. David, over at Samizdata, has dissected this bit of mistakened bill-writing. Wags have suggested in other parts that both Ken and Blunkett could fall afoul of this legislation, themselves. It does seem rather odd that Farrakan has been banned but this vile Sheilk, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, has not been.

And just to make things even more interesting, the names of those who benefitted in the “Oil for Food” fiasco are about to be released by Iraqi authorities. Let us hope both George Galloway and Tam Dayell’s names appear on the list of those who benefitted from this huge fraud against the Iraqi people.

Last but not least, all you every wanted to know about how to become a suicide bomber.

Nearly 50 million Americans are expected to vote using touch screen machines this fall.” (07/08/04)

This bit of common sense comes with Rational Review.

Are you prepared for the unthinkable?

7. Read

People in pre-Internet times used to read “books” and “magazines”, written materials once created in printable format to pass the time. Some e-books are still available on paper, and may offer a short-term solution until your power is back and your broadband is restored. If reading is not an option, as a last resort, you may wish to try doing “chores,” or try your hand at cooking. While these activities cannot replace the Internet, they may be able to make the down-time a little more tolerable.
