The criticism of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador’s comments regarding the influence of Zionism in the present turmoil in the Middle East is misjudged (News, June 27). Zionist propaganda has unremittingly encouraged instability among Arab nations.
As Lord Janner knows very well, it was the Zionists who unleashed the demons of urban terrorism on the the world during the British mandate in Palestine. The Zionists used terror to gain their ends then, and the terrorist acts perpetrated by al-Qaeda serve the objectives of contemporary Zionism equally well.
