Colby has another scalp
Colby Cosh has exposed a political judenhaas to the rest of his fellow Canadians. The resulting fallout and column inches are rather interesting.

CMU reports the following on a recent outburst by Morrissey.
Morrissey might have to watch his back when he returns to his LA home – he
seems to have pissed off a fair few Americans with a throw away remark during a gig in Dublin at the weekend. On hearing the news that Ronald Reagan had died, the singer alerted his audience of the news adding he wished it was President Bush who had died instead. The Manchester Evening News reported on the comments at the start of the week and says its online edition has since been swamped with protests hitting out at Morrissey’s sentiments, 90% from Americans.
Wonder whether this lot listens to Morrissey?
3 commentsSenate extends internet tax ban
“The U.S. Senate on April 29 overwhelmingly passed legislation (S. 150) that would extend for four years the recently expired Internet tax moratorium. Alison Bennett, political reporter for the Bureau of National Affairs, called the action ‘a milestone vote.’ The vote for passage was 93-3, breaking a six-month deadlock that began when the original moratorium expired November 1, 2003. While Congress is now closer to reinstating the ban on a temporary basis or even permanently banning internet access taxes, the Senate bill must still be reconciled with a measure passed in September by the House of Representatives.” (06/04)

Last year, right before I left Maine to return to London, I managed to convince my mother to buy herself a 4×4 for the winter. After much car testing (which was painful for me as you know doubt realise), we decided on a used ML350.
My mother managed to get through the entire winter without so much as a bump into a snow-bank.
So, you can how annoying it is that she was rear-ended yesterday in the dry on a clear day. To the ML’s credit, she is fine and barely felt the bump.
2 commentsCongratulations to Labour…
For managing to get themselves into third place in last night’s local elections. They have had the worst result for a ruling party ever.
UKIP took a seat in Hull. It will be interesting to see how they do in the Euro-elections (results) on Sunday.
The Tories managed to take back Tamworth, Easterbourne, and Worthing (from Labour and the Lib-Dems).
