What on earth was the Pope banging on about yesterday.

My respect for the Church has withered in the last year, as Church officials make increasingly insane comments. Perhaps its their EU-like isolation from the real world.

But then Chamberlain was a committed Christians commited to peace, and look where that got us.

So the Pope believes a few prison abuses aren’t a small price to pay for the ruination of a dictator. Perhaps we should we have left Italy to the Germans lest a Nazi storm trooper have his Human Rights crimped.

Oh the ingratitude.

This Pope wants Bush’s penance a few months after a story broke, this is the same Pontiff who took 10 years before getting around to suggesting it might be a good idea for his priests to stop the age old practice of shagging children.

Wonders never cease.

Far be it from me British Pickle but… Neville Chamberlain, but he was actually a Unitarian, which (at least for me) makes him not a Christian.

You could say Baldwin WAS a Christian (probably one of the country’s most prominent) but he was hardly the pacifist Chamberlain was.

Only 1.8% of Catholic priests have even been ACCUSED of sex crimes, and most of those had nothing to do with children. That percentage is far less than the percentage in general society. Get off your high horse.
