Rise of the (shopping) machines
Today, I had the pleasure of using a self-serve check-out at the local Sainsbury’s. It was jolly good fun, and I did not crash the bloody thing. (I can crash mobile phones with great ease. I can even crash laptops without even touching them.) There is one tiny flaw, however. You cannot scan booze without a cashier to approve you. Anyway, I enjoyed using it and plan to do so again very soon.

Ooh, I love to shop in Sainsburys but even more so now that they’ve introduced these tills where you scan all your items yourself, bag them yourself, swipe your own card and wish yourself a “Good day”. I popped in…
