Islamo-kazi rap

February 10th, 2004 | Category: Music

Paul has a found a Reuters report, listed in entertainment, about a nice little Muslim rap band. Are they praising their religion of peace and convincing us of how wonderful it is? Well no, quite the opposite, really, it’s a call to jihad. The video shows Islamo-kazis ready to head out to do their evil deeds.

So who is backing this lot of nice young rappers? Why it’s Al Queda, of course.

ROPMA rap…well at least they found the right genre of music. It’s not like most Rap music is caring & sharing, anyway. Al Queda, the new Murder Inc/Deathrow Records of the rap world? Wonder if Suge Knight will threaten this lot for “dissin” his rappers?

Politicos to close retail outlet

February 10th, 2004 | Category: Politics

Dear Friend,

I am writing to tell you that Politico’s is relocating to Kent on 12 March and continuing as an internet/mail order business at Politicos.co.uk. Our shop in Artillery Row will close on 12 March. Nearly 50% of the bookshop’s turnover is now “not over the counter” and comes through website orders and through orders by post and telephone. Politico’s will continue to organise book events in Westminster and run the shops at the three party conferences.

Kudos?

February 10th, 2004 | Category: Blog gos

Two, possibly dubious, milestones have been achieved by this blog and one of its authors. First of all, we are still on over 10000 hits a day for this month. Admitedly, this is down from over 25000 on the 2nd of February.

Over at Blogcritics, under my guise of Marty Dodge, I have managed to post one of the top 3 posts for comments. It’s the infamous piece on the Ja Rule vs 50 Cent fued.

The latest collection of the bilge of blogdom is festering away for your reading pleasure. The theme this week is minimalism and it works rather well.

And if all that lot does not offend/make you ill, there is always this rather non-PC Al Queda recruitment film. (Via: Pagan Conservatives)

And then there is the latest installment of the Carnival over at On the Third Hand. The have chosen a bookish theme, rather odd for Belicose Women.

Oh and Wind Rider is having a good ole’ rant about the lastest problem with windows.

I am a “happy and well adjusted heterosexual man” according to the Gay-o-Meter (Thanks to Anna for the link.)
