Never ones to miss a chance to develop new sources of revenue, Cologne, Germany, has imposed a “bed tax” on brothels. Since the prevailing theme these days is revenue is revenue, perhaps this idea will be part of the euro-weenies’ ‘harmonization’ of tax rules which Mr. Brown will be required to follow.
