We have a site now!
The Intenational Jewish Conspiracy is no longer hiding itself. Like all good secret cabals, it has a spiffy website.
Thanks to Amygdala for heads up. Incidentally if you have a few farthings going spare, the lad could use them. He is having a rather hard time of it of late.

Dodgeblogium, in our infinite wisdom, have decided to attempt to usurp the King of the Blogs crown from Vigilance Matters. We, at Dodgeblogium, are a very mercenary and darwinian lot, so this battle for supremacy is right up our alley.
This blog would a wonderful way for any of those blogs that are judging this event to get notice. Depending on which method one uses to determine hits, we have gotten over 8,000 hits a day since we have moved hosts to Kathy Kinsley’s [of OTTH fame] hosting services. Even during this most quiet of times we are getting nearly 3,500 hits a day. Read more Comments are off for this postIraqis to suffer Fundie abuse
Pagan Prattle is reporting that Fundie loons are heading to Iraq to convert the locals. I wonder if those lugnuts realise that the penalty for conversion is death. Oh, yes, and the fact that those idiots are giving the Islamokazi’s a propaganda coup. Well, let’s hope that only these idiots get killed and they don’t cause the death of anyone else with their meddling.

London Eye reports:
The curse of the Millennium Dome has struck again. Tonight’s New Year’s Eve party at Greenwich’s infamous white elephant has been unceremoniously – and very quietly – cancelled.
It was billed as the “Grand Finale” for the Winter Wonderland, a theme park that has been running inside the Dome throughout December.
According to its organisers, the event was scrapped just before Christmas because of the threat of industrial action on London Underground.
But yesterday, the Dome’s internet site wrongly proclaimed: “Tickets are on sale now for an event featuring live music, a breathtaking pyrotechnic display at midnight, a disco and a comedy area.”
I am just hoping someone will take my suggestion and do one last Dome spectacular. Fill the white elephant with explosives and blow it up with extreme fan-fare.

“A Bellevue, Wash., company developing security technology for electronic voting suffered an embarrassing hacker break-in that
executives think was tied to the rancorous debate over the safety of casting ballots online. VoteHere confirmed Monday that U.S. authorities are investigating a break-in of its computers months ago, when someone roamed its internal computer network.” (12/29/03)

“Philippine authorities said Monday that they have arrested two Americans for suspected links to terrorism, as the country remained on alert over the reported presence of foreign Muslim militants in
the south. Michael Ray Stubbs and his brother, James, a convert to Islam, have been in custody at an undisclosed location since they were arrested earlier this month in Tanza, in Cavite province, 21 miles southwest of Manila, an immigration official said on condition of anonymity.” (12/30/03)

He has written a rather good piece on reports that US, Saudi, and Yemeni forces are engaged in rounding up Al Queda operatives in Yemen. He has several interesting points about the dedication of the Al Queda types to the Islam.
Comments are off for this postWhat bill suits you?
From Free Democrat comes the news that the Beeb is holding a poll to see which one of five bills its listeners (and readers) would like to see made into law. Considering that 4 out 5 bills border on (or are full blown) statist rubbish, there is little choice about which one to vote for in the end.
David Farrar examines this experiment as well.
The other David links to the result and the reaction from the organisers of this little bit of vox pop. They are not happy. A Telegraph leader continues on this theme.
1 commentFDR used “New Deal” to bribe voters
“For defenders of the New Deal, perhaps the most embarrassing revelation about New Deal spending programs is they channeled money AWAY from the South, the poorest region in the United States. The largest share of New Deal spending and loan programs went to political ‘swing’ states in the West and East – where incomes were at least 60% higher than in the South. As an incumbent, FDR didn’t see any point giving much money to the South where voters were already overwhelmingly on his side.” (12/29/03)

His parents are here, as is his wife’s stepmother. His two children were born here. Next year, however, Swearingen will take his family, leave behind a lifetime of memories and head east to New Hampshire, all for a political movement based on his libertarian beliefs.” (12/28/03)

To ensure that we Americans never offend anyone, airport screeners will not be allowed to profile people. They will continue random searches of everyone: 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President’s security detail, 85-year old congressmen with metal hips and Medal of Honor winning former Governors. But they will not single out any one group of individuals for searches. Let’s pause a moment and take the following test.

The Evil, Sick Mullahs [cont.]……..
Via Kathy, the following paragraphs from an article by Amir Taheri show the skullduggery that those mullahs have been pulling in Iran. Now the hidden motives have been exposed about why they have wrung their hands but done nothing useful in Bam.
...
Thus, more than half of those who died in the earthquake could be regarded as victims of a racket ran by mullahs and their associates with the help of religious prejudice and superstition. Most Iranians knew nothing of the racket that the earthquake has exposed. The discovery that so many people died because cynical developers and bribe-taking mullahs sought a fast buck has sent a shock wave throughout the country.
...
The earthquake also focuses attention on the nuclear power plant that Iran is building on the Bushehr Peninsula. The plant is on the same geological fault line that destroyed Bam. Each year, thousands of tremors of various degrees of intensity are recorded on that fault line.Bushehr itself has thrice been destroyed by earthquake in recent times (1877, 1911 and 1962). It is not hard to imagine what an earthquake that destroys a nuclear power plant could do to the entire Persian Gulf area.
...
And now those same ‘hardliner’ mullahs will try to put the blame on the ‘pro-reform’ movement to preserve their theocratic dictatorship and march steadily backwards into the Dark Ages.

Sir or Madam,
Granted, “gnotalex” is somewhat ambiguous. So “To Whom It May Concern” might be more appropriate.
After we had discovered the website of your company, we inspected your offer, which caught our attention, with great interest. We also provided this information to our business partners from regions where we perform our business activities. We were kindly surprised by a great interest and an urgent enquiry for more particular information and sale propagation materiels.
Woo-hoo! Now if I can only figure out what the website of my “company” is offering, I should be rolling in dough shortly.
Any guesses? Any? Tell you what, I’ll cut you in for 5% of the profits from Romania.
OK, that and 2.5% of Hungary. That’s it, that’s my final offer.

It seems that Saddam was not only the butcher of Baghdad but also the prophesised anti-Christ. Wonder if they will have try-outs for a replacement? Or advertise for suggestions?
Are you a murderous despot?
Do you have big plans?
Can you find Biblical references to yourself (however vague)?
If you answered yes to all these questions you could be our new anti-Christ! No effort needed from you, just keep being you, and we will do the rest!

Rod Dreher in The Corner:
It will come as news to many Christians that an Anglican bishop believes that the Islamic revelation was true, not false, as Christianity teaches implicitly. Nevertheless, a Michigan lawyer friend suggests that Bp. Chane has opened up a new and exciting area for exploring ecumenism/syncretism. Now, the Episcopalians of Washington can have a gay wedding in the church, and push a wall over on the two grooms at the reception.
Comments are off for this postDT on the Arsebishop
Dr Williams has been no less morally flabby on the issue of Islamic terrorism. On Christmas Day the Pope appealed to God to rid the world of the scourge of terrorism. The Archbishop of Canterbury, on the other hand, reserved his clearest condemnation for the West’s counter-terrorism campaign. Imprisoning terrorist suspects in Guantanamo Bay and Belmarsh prison, he complained, “sends out the wrong message” to Muslim societies. Those of the Christian faith, he said, should show themselves to be “on the side of humanity” by “making sacrifices for the sake of justice”.
Above is a bit of the rather cutting piece. The Bishops come in for some well deserved abuse today.
Update: Jackies pastes the junior-Arsebishops who were blathering in the papers over Christmas.
Update II: Oliver takes issue with one of the other Arsebishop’s blatterings.
1 commentThose sick mullahs !!
The ruling theocracy in Iran cares only about dictatorial rule; they care not for the people of Iran. Even though they know earthquakes will occur, they do nothing to plan for disasters, nor do they care about the survivors of such.
“I live in Shiraz. After hearing about the earthquake, I got on a bus and within hours I was here,” recounted the 47-year-old as he stared at the collapsed home and coughed at another puff of diesel smoke mixed with the stench of death.Under the rubble, he says, are the remains of his brothers, sisters, their spouses and children — 17 people in all, mercifully probably fast asleep when the quake struck Bam early on Friday.
“They’re all dead,” he muttered, as another body was hauled from under the rubble, wrapped in a blanket and neatly laid out on the street by Iranian Red Crescent workers who appear happy to let the bulldozer do the digging.
“And if they’re not dead, they will be when that machine gets to them.”
It may be an all-too-common complaint from disaster victims the world over that their respective governments react too slowly, but Galandari and the other desperate souls scouring this particular backstreet of Bam feel they have good reason to complain.
“We asked for help to clear the rubble. And all they did was send a bulldozer,” he said, clearly seeing the use of such heavy digging equipment as a sign that there was no real effort to find survivors. [emphasis by JFM]
From the SMCCKI Iranian Student Movement, these slogans being shouted all over Iran:
“Long Live Israel, Long Live America”The people of Iran are beginning to give voice to their pain and suffering through this unique window of opportunity when the West has gained unprecedented access directly to those people, because the mullahs have admitted they need outside help! “Comcast Cable has censored [sic] Granite Staters for Medical Marijuana (GSMM), prohibiting the group from purchasing airtime on the company’s cable system in New Hampshire, according to GSMM Campaign Coordinator Aaron Houston. Houston approached Comcast last month, asking to buy airtime for a television commercial, but he was denied without receiving any written material detailing the company’s reasoning. ... After receiving a written request from Houston seeking an explanation, the representative said reasons for the denial would be sent to GSMM in writing.” (12/23/03)

As he dashed across the street to make his getaway he was run over by a car. Edward Sanders, 40, was not seriously injured, but was quickly arrested and charged with robbery. 1 commentIs THIS sick, or what?!
Those twisted religious-zealot mullahs in Iran would rather see people in Bam die in the rubble than permit any “Zionist group” to send trained people to help in the rescues.
...Iran said on Saturday it would accept aid from all foreign countries except Israel following the quake — the world’s most serious since 25,000 people were killed in the western Indian state of Gujarat in 2001….ROPMA has really done itself proud with this kind of malevolent behavior.
Update: Michele believes we should help the Iranains; other bloggers do not. Why? Because the Iranians are a bunch of anti-semitic cretins, that is why.
