Religion of Peace exposed

November 18th, 2003 | Category: ROPMA

This short essay has a few quotes from the Koran that demonstrate that those who believe it to be a peaceful religion are just wrong. Or more accurately they clearly have never read the book in question.

While it can be debated that there may be “moderate” Muslims in the world, the nature of the religion they follow is beyond doubt. Secularism in the Islamic world is the only hope there is for real peace in the Middle East and the larger world. While not perfect Turkey is clearly showing the way. As we saw from last weekend’s bombs, the Islamokazis are well aware of the threat Turkey’s vision poses.

This will go down well with Cuban exiles

November 18th, 2003 | Category: Politics

The city of Miami is bracing this week for 20,000 demonstrators determined to disrupt negotiations on trade among 34 countries. The level of protest has not been seen here since federal agents seized Elian Gonzalez from relatives and returned the boy to his father in Cuba three years ago. The protesters object to plans for a Free Trade Area of the Americas, which would create a market encompassing the Western Hemisphere except Cuba. Local leaders are determined to maintain control because they are promoting Miami’s candidacy for headquarters of the proposed organization.” (11/16/03)

Egyptian Government must read this blog

November 18th, 2003 | Category: ROPMA

The Egyptians have banned the Matrix movies because they promote Zionism. I have made some sort of snide remark in public and on this blog (or possibly in the comments section of another blog) about the fact that Neo & Co are trying to save Zion on many occasions.

The relationship between Trinity and Neo – he being the savior of Zion and her name representing the pillars of Christianity – could be seen as mirroring the long-standing Judeo-Christian alliance between the US and Israel. This idea comes to its climax when Neo brings Trinity back from the dead by superhumanly reaching into her heart and squeezing it back to life. Trinity rescued Neo in the first movie, and the first words she utters when she wakes in the sequel are gobsmackingly predictable: Now we’re even.

All I can say is it took them bloody long enough! Does the fact that it annoys Islamokazis enough motive to go see the newest release? Um no, but I might get it on DVD when it comes out and will probably watch the second one again too.

A new campaign.

Piss off an Islamo-fascist! Watch Matrix Revolutions!

Steyn fisks the protestors, while Ken lauds them

November 18th, 2003 | Category: UK Politics

Mark Styen has done, as Harry, Perry, and Sully have done on their blogs, a wonderful fisking of those who will riot this week during Bush’s visit. Most telling is the following quote from an Islamist:

“The Americans love Pepsi-Cola, we love death.”

Meanwhile the Mayoral Arsehole (that is the kindest word I have heard for him over last 24 hours from his detractors) is supporting the rioters (well, he told them not to behave too badly or it will hurt the “cause”). He railed on about Bush, Palestine (naturally), and the Florida count. Someone needs to tell this idiot that Blair did not have a popular majority either.

I find the actions and rhetoric of the antis appalling. There is nothing wrong with peaceful protest, but they are the ones that are causing the disruption to Londoners, not the President. Never mind the fact that many of those protesting are anti-Semitic/Israel, anti-American, pro-terrorist cretins like our wonderful Mayor. The man meets with Yassar Arafat, a man with known links to terrorists, but refuses to meet with Bush, as he calls him corrupt and illegitimate.

The rioters (and there will be riots) and the Mayor are making a fool out of Londoners and the British for their cheap, and in some cases racist, extreme-left political ends.

Oh and the lush and his daft party is backing the protests as well.

Update: Read this and seethe.

They got little cars/That go beep beep beep

November 18th, 2003 | Category: Nutty stuff

From Tongue Tied. Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to get him some elevator shoes, or stilts, or something?

A court in Norway has ruled that the government must pay for a short mans car because he is afraid of being teased when riding public transportation, reports the Aftenposten newspaper.

The 22-year-old man, who is 42 high, said he has had anxiety attacks at the thought of riding the bus ever since he was bullied as a young boy on the school bus.

Government officials initially said that was his problem, but a special social welfare court ruled that society shouldn’t expose him to the psychological burden of riding the bus.

Those Damn Protestors!

November 18th, 2003 | Category: Political Correctness

They are sick, sick people.

Why does JFM say that? Because of the voices of Iraqis that are telling why they believe that it was oh so very right to rid Iraq of Sadam and his evil, corrupt regime. Jeff has rounded up just a small taste of what they have to say. They are now broadcasting via their blogs the real stories of the ruined lives that no-one has heard about before.

Those protestors are sick, sick people.
