PC loving trolls: unite!

Category: Technology

This guy clearly has a bad case of computer envy. I have not seen such a load of rubbish since the last Den Beste anti-Mac rant.

Udolpho, we will try not to snicker when you are whingeing about the next virus to affect your beloved PC. Oh yes, and that the title of your post demonstrates your rational ability to discuss Apple products. Some of us care more about a stable, easy to use, and useful machine rather than penis envy wrapped up in mhz and fps comparisons.

Look, guys, you don’t like Mac, fine. Just don’t prattle on about what you don’t know about, trying to make yourself look clever. You just come over as jealous and idiotic.

Via: Mike, who, incidentally, loves Panther.

Tsk, bloody Mac heathens, resistance is futile, you know… ;-)

I’ve spent eight years doing tech support for both Mac and PC’s…result? They both break, each in different ways.

Which is better? Well, what are you doing? If you’re impatient and/or doing a lot of e-music and computer graphics, then get a Mac…and don’t bitch to me when you find out that it breaks when you don’t rebuild the desktop.
Playing a lot of games and don’t mind pulling out your own teeth? Then get a PC. And don’t bitch to me when you have to spend an hour rebuilding your netstack.
I love Mac OSX+, and wish my non-geek friends would move to it. Then again, I HATE the idea of waiting a year just to see if my favorite game of the month will be offered in Mac. Result? I use my OS Jaguar for everything except games. For games, I use Win98. I love them both, each for their own strengths.
And that’s just pretty reasonable for an Elder God, don’t you agree?

This flat has a bleeding edge PC laptop so that we can play stuff like Max Payne II (it rocks) and other bleeding edge stuff. Anything practical gets done on one of the two Panther-running Macs. The Imac is getting used for a couple o’ RPGs and a bit o’ beta testing.
