Just when you thought it could NOT possibly get any worse!!
HMG’s NHI is already a mess, but, if the euro-weenies don’t quit their mucking about with the UK’s rules, then health-care will descend even further down that dreadful pipe! This will surely make patients feel really secure about being in good hands whilst in hospital.
Do those faceless, overpaid bureaucrats in Brussels care at all about people dying; of course not!
Comments are off for this postF1 has completed another boring season
Wow, Schuie wins the Championship and Ferrari wins again….zzzz. Who gives a damn, anymore? Bloody remote control car racing is more exciting than this rubbish.
What is most amusing is how the F1 show on ITV tries to make the season out to be exciting. How can it be? The same team and driver won again, how is that exciting? I think networks who bought the rights and their advertisers are desperate to keep their sliding viewing figures from getting any worse.
1 commentIDS and his (possible) replacement…
Anderson, Pollard, and D’Ancona have all turned their critical eyes to the events of last week. The first discusses the qualities of Howard and Letwin, two high profile candidates for the leadership, the second how their “factions” are similar to that of orthodox and reform Judiasm. Then Matthew discusses the speech that IDS made to the conference. The letters page contains some interesting observations as well.
The most interesting thing I observed is that those qvetching by far the most about the desired demise of IDS were not members of associations, but those from the village (Westminster), whether from the staffs of MPs or the denizens of CCO. From my observations and those of friends & acquaintances, it is CCO and a few of its allied MPs that have been undermining IDS. They have been doing so since their choice of candidate, Clarke, failed to triumph. This is, of course, the place that famously would not to help, nor even speak the name of Andrew Rosindell, the candidate who triumphed in Romford during the election.
Say what you may about Andrew, but he is a true reflection of his local community (being a local boy), and one that could show the way to the Tory Party if they cared to look.
1 commentNow this is a right jolly muck-up!
How bizarre! First they plan badly, then they want the customer to pay extra for management having made a muddle.
Even the government could not have dreamt this one up to inflict on the public. This is absolutely no way to run a railroad.
