Sinn Fein’s “peace” t-shirts
Just in case you thought that Sinn Fein does not have its own army. They seem to be encouraging their supporters to put their violent past behind them.

Praise for homicide bombings at an Islamic Conference in Sweden.
Adil Farooq posts his thoughts on Abu Hamza “Captain Hook” al-Misri.
And just in case you didn’t think we were dealing with fascist loons, check this caring & sharing site out. I will give you a hint; its says: “Save your souls. Boycott the Dollar.” Should be called Islamofascist.org. Wonder if any hackers out there might get the same idea…

Sparkpod is now offering a Mac-centric blogging service, reports Peter Cohen. Its free of charge, but it is $25 a year after the first 60 days. At first glance, it does not look much better than blogger. Peter has a blog of his own called Tikkabik.
Here is my “test” blog. So far the interface is pretty easy to master. Much easier to do things than Blogger.

If the blog acts strangely for any of you, don’t worry. A friend of Dodgeblogium is redesigning the site for us. We may even be moving off MT to something a bit more uber. We are planning to add a few new contributors as well. One or two are new to the blogging game and a few of the others are veterans of the scene. Dodgeblogium is more than a vanity site for me, its a concept. A dodgy concept, but a concept nonetheless.

Rational Review has this piece from the Globe.
” _discourse+.shtml"”>Oliver Willis, 25, doesn’t match the old-school profile of political influence. He’s not a rich man or a player in Democratic circles; in the 2000 presidential campaign, the most he did was purchase a Gore/Lieberman hat. But he has a political platform of his own, a website called oliverwillis.com, which he runs from his sparsely furnished apartment in Dedham. And when he posted an essay there, promoting former Vermont governor Howard Dean for Democratic nominee, he drew a flood of comments from people he had never met. When Oliver Willis talks, it turns out, the blogosphere cares.” (07/23/03)
We do? This is news to me. Wonder if the Globe only cares about Willis because he is a leftie and black? Or is that just cynical of me?
