Since when has 140 backbenchers been considered a handful? Surely that means that Blair has a “slight” majority in the commons and Saddam is a bit of bother?
Max Hastings, typically, is less than blunt in his opinions on this matter, with this most apocalyptic of headlines; Time is already short – IDS must go now! Max is a disenchanted Tory who wants to feel “wanted” again, Oddly he suggests no alternative, which is rather unhelpful for the party.
