So, the Indonesian muslim fanatics succeeded in killing over a hundred Australian and other tourists at a nightclub in Bali. Looks like they’ve also succeeded in raising the ire and fighting spirit of the Kiwis and Aussies. Good on you, former and future ANZACs. My deepest sympathies for the families of the victims and my deepest hopes that the would-be martyrs find their way to the other side of the veil – SOON! And with multiple bullet wounds! Wankers is too kind a word. Is there a word for wanker afterproduct? That would be a bit closer. I’m interested to see how Helen Clark handles the event. It’s a little closer to home for her than Manhattan. Will she finally get it? We’ll see. I lived in NZ for two years – until 2000 – so here’s a look at what the New Zealand press had to say in The Dominion Post (Wellington newspaper.)

This article from Time magazine, written almost four years ago, sounded one of the first alarms to growing Muslim violence in Indonesia. Don’t read it if you’re easily upset by descriptions of violence.

A reminder that the Church of England has always been a bunch of cowardly appeasers. The Welsh Weasel who is in charge is just following a precedent of kowtowing to vicious dictators. Any wonder why some Jews accuse Christian Churches of having abetted Hitler?

The DT reports that Tim Yeo has put his foot in his mouth and publically disowned Lord Tebbit. Yeo, Shadow Sect for Trade and Industry, is a leading moderniser but a political nitwit. He will have succeeded in annoying vast numbers of activists who are the backbone of the party. Never mind the fact that Tebbit sacrificed his political career to care for his wife who was injured in the Brighton Bombing.

A leader in today’s ST shows the contempt which the paper holds for the treatment of Lord Tebbit.
