A Frown From The Editor….....
Andrew has decided that he need not even work to rules, never mind actually producing some material for the blog. He is, instead, away to drinks with a senior BBC producer, allegedly for something productive. The Editor will be having a word with him about shirking and socializing on company time!

Robert Harris has written an interesting piece in the Telegraph on why we don’t have cause to attack Iraq. It is not the typical anti-war rant eminating from the left, but a measured article on how the reasons expressed so far are not sufficient to justify such a move. As someone who has yet to be convinced on the case for the a war on Saddam, right now, I found it very convincing. Come on, Blair and Bush, you will need the intellectual right (both conservative & libertarian) on your side. Why not try to convince us instead of wasting your time on the Islington/Berkeley set who will never be on side?

A few more reviews from Marty on Blogcritics. He is working through a rather large pile of discs to review. No doubt his “suppliers” of review material will be pleased to see their releases reviewed on such a popular site. Kudos to Eric Olsen for all his efforts.

What a tempest in a teapot. You Brits are following dangerously close in the ridiculous political correctness race. You might take the prize soon! So, David Plunkett suggests it might be a good idea for parents and children to try to speak English occasionally in their homes to help them learn the national language and prepare for the life in the UK test they have to pass to get a British passport. As usual, the idiotic Muslim leads the fray and accuses Plunkett of racism. Completely unfounded and unsubstantiated, of course, just throwing it out off the cuff and foaming at the mouth. Typical.
Youd think the foreign secretary had tried to pass a law instead of making a suggestion. Maybe Mr. Plunkett should just quietly make that life in the UK test just a TAD more difficult.

“Antiwar activists are correct when they say it takes to sides to make a war, and if one side (ours) will refuse to fight, there cant be a war. This is true. Lay down your arms in the face of aggression and it becomes a beating. Or a rape.”
So says Paul Wright on his blog. Go check out his post entitled: “Burn your bra (and bung on a burkha)”.
