Posting might be patchy today as I have to refrain from vomiting as I am subjected to the sycophantic twaddling about that famous fat drug-addict. Even the Telegraph feels the need to mention this icon to bad taste. To be fair, the article is more than a little sarcastic. Elvis is a symbol of middle America and one that I can do without. I was once called unAmerican for not liking Elvis. If idolising a redneck of limited talent who could barely sing, could not act, and died on the bog is a sign of being an American then no wonder I chose not to live there.

Update: The black rock band, Living Colour, expressed their opinion on the matter in the song Elvis is Dead.
