Andrea has posted a short muse on the state of popular rock today. She calls it “no-fun rock”. I call it “navel gazing angst rock”. They say dance is dead (thank god); let’s hope it’s replaced by some cheery sdr&r. Life is too short to piss and moan all the time. Andrea is right; even the goths I hang out with on occasion are more fun than angst rockers and their fans.
