Both Iain Murray and Kat Kinsley were kind enough to take pity on MommaBear and give her a translation of what was intended in Iain’s kind mention of our new header. What he was trying to convey was a “tribute” to that creature at the bottom of the Crest: Magnum antiquum is my attempt to Latinise “Great Old One” and passant seemed as near as I’d get to “slithering” in Heraldic terms…

Archbishops seem to care more about looking out for the suffering of Iraq’s citizens (who are Muslim) than they are their own Christian flock around the world. To see the Archbishop of Oxford sounding off as if he were Tom Dayell MP was most sickening. These men of the cloth sincerely believe it is their duty to meddle in the affairs of the state. The Christian establishment members suddenly seem to think they are experts on international law. I wonder if any of these marxists in dog-collars ever thought about the Kurds and Marsh Arabs who have been subjected to chemical weapons, the poisoning of their water supplies, and mass execution.
