A Grin From The Den….....
MommaBear must admit that she did quietly smile after reading Andrew’s commentary about the so-called ‘rules for women’ post, which, in turn reminded her of a rather humorous bit that occurred whilst she and PoppaBear were in Scotland for a month during one summer.

...almost midnight on a Scottish summer evening, meaning really still only twilight…
a lovely barbecue, by invitation, only, set in the countryside; almost 150 people,
...no access to ‘public/private facilities’, so provision is made by digging a standard latrine trench, but, to dress it up, an old seat/bowl from a discarded toilet is placed on planks over the trench and tarps hung round for privacy, sort of…highway department warning lantern hung over door for a wee bit of light and mark it for location, complete with sign designating ‘this loo for women only’... [btw, the men got only an opening in the privet hedge]
The daughter of a friend was deemed old enough to attend this special annual get-together for the first time, but when she asked her Mom about ‘how to use it’, this was the answer she got:
...well, you go in and sit down and do what you usually do, then you stand up and make a swishing sound of the water going down, arrange your clothing, and come out…
