Today, 21 June 2002 saw the formation of the European Union Office of Occultism. Its purpose it to co-ordinate Occultists across the European Union. The following are the goals of the E.U.O.O.:
1. To promulgate an EU approved standard for practicising Occultists. Exams and instructions will be offered so that Occultists possess the same level of competence across the EU.
2. To insure that Occultists practices are in complaince with all EU regulations including if not exclusive to the following areas: ceremonies, potions, spells, and sacrifice. The E.U.O.O. will co-ordinate with the Health and Safety Inspectorates of all member countries to ensure the safety of both the participants and the animals used in any ceremony. Potions will be labelled for contents and purity with an E.U.O.O. standard mark.
3. E.U.O.O. will aide Occulists is finding, preserving, and obtaining planning permission for sites of particular Occult interest including stone circles, plinths, and pagan temples.
4. E.U.O.O. will open the European Centre for Occult Studies at The Wewelsburg in Germany. It will be staffed with some of the leading minds in Occult studies in the Union as determined by the E.U.O.O. The Centre will offer degree programs in Occult studies at all levels.
New headquarters for the E.U.O.O. will be built in Prague, Austria, to open 31 October 2004. E.U.O.O. Officers and staff will be temporarily located in offices in The Wewelsburg.
