Is it wrong to feel a great deal of pleasure that France has not made the final round of the World Cup? What will really be amusing is if the US manages to make it into the finals. Can you imagine how annoyed that would make the French? Oh yes, and wait for the any increase in Le Pen’s vote in the second round of the elections in France to be blamed on the team’s exit. Wonder if we will see angry French fans rioting like their Russian counterparts?

Brian over at Samizdata seems to have gotten a bit flustered about linking to a post of mine. All I have say is: welcome to the varied and interesting world of Blogger, mate. It wasn’t you and it wasn’t me; its the damn program. My links seem to be working fine at the moment. This new version of Blogger Pro seems to have a few bugs in it. So bear with us please.

I will like to apologise to any of my readers who find a few more errors in the text of Dodgeblog than usual. Blogger is not being kind to the web-mistress, MommaBear. So any errors are all the writers and do not mean MB is not doing her normal cracking job. Quite why Blogger is misbehaving is a mystery to MB and I. It seems to be working fairly well for me, with Mozilla for OSX. Unlike IE 5.1, Mozilla does not crash, ever.
Update: Blogger is messing up for me as well, swallowing posts and mangling them.
