This is a disgraceful development since the poet is one of the UK’s leading apologist for the Palestinians. Not only is he an apologist for Arafat, the man is almost a proponent of Islamic terrorism. In fact, it seems fairly obvious that if he thought he would get away with it, he would be cheering them on. In short, Tom Paulin is a loathsome wretch, and typically since he is a left-wing poet, he gets away with it. It will surprise no one to hear that he is a darling of the both the BBC and the Guardian.I hope that people will pressure Hertford College to recind their offer. I am sure that the college does not want to be seen as haven for terrorist apologists.
