It seems that old bugbear, video games, has been dragged out once again to explain bad behaviour. In the latest version, anarcho-terrorists/anti-globilisation thugs have learned their trade from video games.
Norah Vincent states the following about computer gaming:. ”... It’s pernicious. Not only is it as addictive as gambling but it also elicits and abets the worst and darkest instincts in human nature.”
It is clear Ms Vincent has a bit of a problem distinquishing between reality and fantasy. Futhermore, she seems to believe no one else has the ability either. This is of course, a typical knee jerk reaction to problems in the US. The article is filled with muddle-headed left-coast/wing socialist thinking. The scary thing is the person who wrote this drivel is a senior-fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, a post 9/11 think-tank.
No once does she suggest that the rioters are bunch of total arseholes who just like rioting. Most of them are middle class spoiled brats with the money to run all over the world to riot. The article is a 1000 word apologia for a bunch of cretinous scum.

Sky News weighed into the German Satanic scandal with its own twist. Last night they wheeled out someone who claimed to be a British satanist. The black clad satanist cliche (male) proceeded to whine that the German couple were giving satanism a bad name. Is that possible? I always thought most people thought satanist were pretty nasty to start with? No doubt British satanists will be hiring a PR agency to defend their reputation.

The You Gov contest does not seem to like being directly linked to via html. You need to go to You Gov.com and look for the “Lords Contest” to vote.
